Treasure is conceived as a decentralized game console and NFT gaming ecosystem built on a custom Ethereum Layer‑2 rollup (the “Treasure Chain”) powered by ZKsync and Elastic infrastructure. Desi…gned to unify a variety of blockchain games, virtual companions and interconnected worlds under one cohesive architecture, Treasure enables seamless cross‑game economy, identity, and protocol governance. At launch, Treasure featured a universal in‑game login system (via Treasure Connect and TDK SDKs), a decentralized token AMM (Magicswap), and a curated marketplace where MAGIC tokens serve as the exclusive currency. MAGIC acts as the native gas token on Treasure Chain, the base trading pair in Magicswap and the staking/governance token securing Infinity Chains via EigenLayer. From its origins in late 2021, the platform expanded to host over a dozen games such as The Beacon, Zeeverse, Smolbound, Wanderers and Bridgeworld, all interoperable via shared assets, quests and tokenomics. Its ecosystem tools include the Treasure Desktop Launcher for distributing games, cross‑chain asset bridging, developer toolkits in Unity, Godot, Unreal and web, plus support for deep linking and social/email login. In mid‑2024 Treasure DAO migrated to Magicswap v2, launching support for NFT‑ERC20 liquidity pools, lowering protocol swap fees to 0.3%, and enabling partner projects like Zeeverse to mint consumable NFTs tradable directly via magicswap—creating a new in‑game economy tied to real market liquidity. Transparency is maintained via proposals (TIPs) and a public roadmap; proposals such as TIP‑49 in April 2025 re‑prioritized focus toward native projects Smolworld, Canopy and AI‑driven agents over game publishing infrastructure, signaling product strategy shifts back to core applications. Treasure Chain mainnet went live on December 11 2024 after launching testnets (Ruby, then Topaz) earlier that year. As of mid‑2025, the ecosystem continues developing Infinity Chain rollups, a cross‑game token model, live game infrastructure, and composable commerce via Magicswap paired with MAGIC. Ownership and governance are driven by MAGIC holders who vote on emissions, upgrades and fee structures. With a builder‑centric flywheel, Treasure supports game developers through onboarding tools, strategic amplification, integrations, and shared economic value.
