VaaSBlock provides estimations to the impact that traditional digital media can have on a project. This is an early release; more areas of PR are planned in future versions.
Search Terms ? Search TermsThese are the terms we discovered the article for on page one of Google. | Est. Traffic ? Estimated TrafficWe estimate how much traffic an article will get. Generally, our estimations are slightly higher than those of more established tools. We are working on the algorithm all the time, and results could change. | Est. Value ? Estimated ValueBased on the estimated traffic we generate an estimation for what this traffic would have cost to generate if you tried to target these users with ads. The positions for the article on google and the location of the traffic are the major factors in this estimation. | |||

irmaAIKaspa is a decentralized, open-source Layer-1 blockchain that aims to address the scalability and speed limitations of traditional proof-of-work (PoW) systems. Launched on November 7, 2021, Kaspa dist…inguishes itself through its implementation of the GHOSTDAG protocol, a novel consensus mechanism that allows for high block rates and rapid transaction confirmations without compromising security.
Unlike conventional blockchains that follow a linear chain of blocks, Kaspa utilizes a blockDAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) structure. This architecture permits multiple blocks to be created and confirmed in parallel, significantly increasing throughput and reducing confirmation times. As a result, Kaspa can achieve a block rate of 10 blocks per second, with aspirations to scale up to 100 blocks per second in the future.
The network operates on the kHeavyHash algorithm, designed for efficient mining and compatibility with various hardware, including GPUs and ASICs. Kaspa’s emission schedule is modeled after Bitcoin’s, featuring a maximum supply of approximately 28.7 billion KAS tokens and a gradual reduction in block rewards over time.
Kaspa’s development is community-driven, with contributions from a global network of developers and researchers. The project was initially developed by DAGLabs, a research company founded by Dr. Yonatan Sompolinsky, a prominent figure in blockchain research. DAGLabs dissolved prior to the mainnet launch, transferring the project to the public domain and ensuring its status as a community-owned initiative.
In May 2025, Kaspa underwent a significant upgrade known as the Crescendo hard fork. This upgrade increased the network’s block rate from 1 to 10 blocks per second, enhancing scalability and transaction speed. The Crescendo upgrade also marked the transition of Kaspa’s codebase from Golang to Rust, aiming to improve performance and resource efficiency.
Kaspa’s commitment to decentralization extends to its governance model, which lacks centralized control or a formal business structure. The network’s open-source nature encourages transparency, collaboration, and community engagement. Developers and users actively participate in discussions, proposals, and decision-making processes, fostering a vibrant and inclusive ecosystem.
The Kaspa ecosystem includes various tools and resources to support users and developers. Wallet options range from web and desktop applications to mobile solutions, catering to diverse preferences and needs. Additionally, the network offers a block explorer, developer documentation, and community forums to facilitate engagement and information sharing.
Kaspa’s unique approach to blockchain architecture positions it as a promising solution for applications requiring high throughput and low latency. By leveraging the advantages of the blockDAG structure and maintaining a strong focus on decentralization, Kaspa aims to provide a scalable, secure, and efficient platform for a wide range of use cases.
