At its core, Bubblemaps represents wallets as bubbles, with the size indicating the number of tokens held and connections between bubbles illustrating transactions. This visual approach simplifies the analysis of token distributions and wallet interactions, enabling users to identify market trends, potential manipulations, and other significant on-chain activities. 
The platform supports multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Polygon, and others, providing comprehensive on-chain analytics across diverse ecosystems. Bubblemaps’ unique features, such as “Time Travel” for historical analysis and “Magic Nodes” for uncovering hidden wallet connections, enhance its utility in identifying market trends and potential manipulations.
In September 2023, Bubblemaps secured $3.2 million in seed funding led by INCE Capital, with participation from Stake Capital, Momentum 6, LBank, V3ntures, and others. This funding enabled the company to expand its team, enhance its platform, and bolster its marketing efforts.  
In March 2025, Bubblemaps launched its native token, BMT, on the Solana blockchain. The token serves as a governance and utility token, allowing users to unlock premium features, participate in platform governance, and contribute to the platform’s community-driven investigation platform, Intel Desk. Intel Desk enables users to submit and vote on investigations into suspicious on-chain activities, fostering a collaborative approach to blockchain transparency.   
Bubblemaps has been instrumental in exposing fraudulent activities within the crypto space. Notable investigations include uncovering that 96% of the Hawk Tuah (HAWK) meme token supply was controlled by a single cluster of wallets, as well as identifying insider activities in tokens like NEIRO and MOTHER. These investigations have been featured in prominent publications, highlighting Bubblemaps’ role in promoting transparency and accountability in the blockchain ecosystem. 
The platform’s commitment to innovation is evident in its continuous development and expansion. Recent milestones include the release of Bubblemaps V2, which introduced enhanced features such as improved bubble maps, AI-powered analytics, and cross-chain support.
